The 100-room Hampton Inn & Suites, built in 2002, is located 7 miles east of Interstate 95 just off U.S. Highway 278 and 15 minutes from the beaches of Hilton Head Island. Adjacent to the upscale Sun City development, the property is located midway between Savannah International Airport and Hilton Head Island and considered part of Hilton Head Island Beaufort Micropolitan Statistical Area. Known for its recent rapid development, Bluffton is currently amongst the fastest growing areas in the state of South Carolina. The region has become very popular with retirees and wealthy families with second or vacation homes due to the cessation of new development allowed on Hilton Head Island itself.
